Meeting Minutes - November 18, 2001

Present: Dan Cole, Steve Mueller, Allison Russell, Yvette Lokotz, Nancy Braker

Minutes from the last meeting were approved.

Checking balance: $1, 735.42

OLD BUSINESS:

Non-Profit Status: We got our non profit status.
New Board Members: Theresa Plenty and Ira Kastenberg have agreed to serve on the board.

NEW BUSINESS:

Display panel donation: We received a donation of display panels from Cuna Mutual. They no longer require them and thought we could use them. They will be stored at the Brakers. Allison will send them a thank-you note.

Garden club donation: The Garden club is disbanding and they have some money in their treasury to give to us to purchase something lasting and worthwhile. One idea is: purchase a bench for our prairie garden. Nancy will look into a putting a sign on the bench mentioning the Garden Club.

Neil Diboll is confirmed to talk about prairie planting and will incorporate raingarden information on Feb. 21. His costs will be $200.

OTHER:
The regular meeting followed our board meeting. Ken Potter from the UW was our speaker.
